On April 25, 1863, Canadian Illustrated News (Hamilton) published a feature article about the new Stone Distillery along with the following 12 engravings. Depicting both the interior and exterior of the 1860 building, including the architecture, machinery, processes, and people who worked there, this series provides the earliest and most complete view of the oldest building still standing in the Distillery District. Originals can be viewed in the Baldwin Room at the Toronto Public Library.
