About two dozen “Long Service Men” posed for their portrait on Trinity Street just outside the Cannery in February 1937. The group includes both executives and ordinary workers – some of whom had canned Hot-Shot antifreeze in this building. Several had started work in the 1880s when Gooderham & Worts was still the largest distillery in the British Empire.

En février 1937, environ deux douzaines d’ouvriers aux nombreuses années de service ont posé pour la photographie prise rue Trinité devant le bâtiment de mise en bouteille. Le groupe comprend des administrateurs et des ouvriers ordinaires – certains avaient mis en boîte l’antigel Hot-Shot dans ce bâtiment (Cannery). Plusieurs avaient commencé à travailler dans les années 1880 quand Gooderham & Worts était encore la plus grande distillerie de l’Empire britannique.
