By 1909 when this Goad’s map was created, the south side of Mill Street east of Parliament Street was occupied by the General Distilling Company. General Distilling was a partnership established in 1902 among Gooderham & Worts, Joseph Seagram, Hiram Walker, Wiser’s, Corby’s and the Hamilton Distilling Company to serve the industrial alcohol market.
Selon le plan Goad de 1909, la General Distilling Company se trouvait sur le côté sud de la rue Mill, à l’est de la rue Parliament. La General Distilling Company était un partenariat créé en 1902 et composé de Gooderham & Worts, Joseph Seagram, Hiram Walker, Wiser, Corby et la Hamilton Distilling Company pour répondre à la demande du marché de l’alcool industriel.
