When Gooderham & Worts acquired this beautiful, hand-decorated office safe from J & J Taylor of Toronto in 1875, the distillery was the largest in the British Empire, possibly in the world.

Harry C. Hatch and partners purchased Gooderham & Worts 1923. The stock certificate displayed here probably dates from 1924.
